Default To Serve and Protect/Favorite Cop Films
Usually what makes a Cop Film a Cop Film is when the lead character/characters are Cops but not always, see "The Usual Suspects." IMO this is still a Cop Film even though the main characters are anything but Cops. There have been truck loads of great Cop Films, some funny, some dramatic, some serious yet all if not most of them are entertaining.

The first Cop Film that comes to mind as one of my personal favorites is "Seven." Detectivvvvvvve!!!
