hdmi cable question - Blu-ray Forum

I was at target today looking at hdmi cables...sony brand. They had two 6 ft cables...one for 30 dollars and the other for 50 dollars. They both looked the same to me so i was reading the package to see what the hell the difference was. The only thing i could find was that one said it was for bluray(the 50 dollar cable and the 30 dollar cable was made for your dvd upscale player. My question is am i going to notice a difference in picture quality between the two cables???

cool...thanks! one thing i am confused about is the difference in speed in the hdmi cables...monster cables. do they really have a difference or is it more of gimmick to try to sell a 100 dollar cable?

Mainly a gimmick to sell overpriced cables to unsuspecting/naive consumers.
