Default Question about PSP/PS3

Okay this may have been asked a million times, but please allow me to be 1 million and 1.

I have a PS3 and I'm GETTING a PSP here in a few weeks. The PSP 3000 R&C edition.

Is there a way to connect the PSP to my PS3 so I can watch it through my big screen?

Or perhaps a way to connect the PSP to the HD Monitor I have hooked to the PS3 via HDMI?

I know absolutely NOTHING about the PSP, so....sorry if these are stupid questions.

Just thought it'd be nice to hook the PSP up to the bigger screen and play the games on that one, or watch the UMD movies on that screen.

PSP Component AV Cable

Directly connects the PSP to your TV. The XMB and UMD movies play fullscreen but I think games are still windowboxed. The cable's not that long so you can't sit holding the PSP very far away from your TV.

a reviewer said it has to be progressive scan or the cable doesn't work....

that's my monitor. I don't even know if it'll connect to it either.... :-(

edit: nevermind. Apparantly it's gonna like like shite if I put it on the HD screen, with blocky pixellations and all.

I'll just play it on the PSP and that'll be fine.

Thanks for the help Shin-Ra!
