Default Momitsu BDP-899 / HD TV Conflict?

Hello all,

I need some help... I plan on purchasing my first Blu-ray player, as well as of course the necessary HD TV quite soon. Probably the Momitsu BDP-899, because it's region-free:

http://www.hkflix.com/hardware/xq/as...qx/details.htm

But I have a question: I have heard complaints from people claiming that their HD TV's don't accept PAL signals. If this Blu-ray player has NTSC-PAL conversion, is that still an issue?

I just want to be as cautious as I can where matters of this much money are concerned, LOL. Thanks a million.

The player's bulilt in converter will output a signal your TV can handle. Just choose NTSC under the set up menus and you will be fine.
