Going to Thailand Friday!! Suggestions?? - Blu-ray Forum

Hi!

Heading to Thailand on Friday for 3 weeks... Cant wait! Flying in to Bangkok on the Saturday where we plan to stay for one night, before flying south the next morning (flight booked for the Sunday morning). Anyone ever stay in a hotel near Bangkok airport? (Suvarnabhumi) I was looking at the Novotel Airport Hotel - have a look!

And how about the rest of the island? Anything I HAVE to do/visit while I'm there??

O.V.N., a massage is def on the list.. heard it's a must! Its kinda entering rainy season at the mo, so we are expecting some rain, but temperatures are still very high!

Heard a lot about the Full Moon parties too. Anyone ever been to one?

are you and the gf on your own or going with a tour that has a guide and stuff planned out? thailand is great for spicy food if thats your thing (its my thing, i love spicy food).

its just the two of us b0bby.. she is great for organising things so Im sure we will have plenty to do. was just wondering if anyone was there and would like to recommend something!

Im not a fan of the spice!!

I wouldn't be worried about finding something to do. Well maybe...with you being there three weeks and all, I just hope you don't run out of things to do.

Yeah it is a long time I guess, but living in ireland, we felt two weeks would have been two short when you take in to account all of the travel!

yep that's on the west right? we plan too, but it might depend on the weather. we've been told that this time of year the east gets more sun!

Definitely try to get some authentic food by locals. Also, and I'm not sure how seasons work there as far as what's in-season, but try to get some fruit. Fruits from locations like Thailand are phenomenal — they're like candy they're so good.

Should I bring my laptop? Or too risky?

might just stick with the psp for web browsing
