Default Does anyone else use 6500k bulbs?

I got hooked on the energy saver 6500k bulbs and after a few hundred dollars later my every bulb in my house is 6500k. anyone else go this route? its a little pricier but it looks ultra clean and enhances any modern design. just an off topic post!!!

are you talking about compact fluorescent bulbs? which brand are you using?
The ones that I have seen that are labeled as daylight were way too blue

I put some in the computer room at my house. I've gotten to where I like them, but my wife thinks they're too bright. They're not brighter than what was here before, just a different color temp.

I bought some for backlighting purposes. It was a goofy setup with the lamp I had so I said, "Screw it, I'll use them for my lighting." I switched out some bulbs in my side lamps and they were just too bright and cool. I exchanged them for the soft white version, which work better, but they still have that washed-out flourescent look. Don't get me wrong, I'm sold on compact bulbs, but they're going to take some getting used to.
