I dont know if everyone know this yet but I am mad, I just found out that paramount is remaking Footloose. How can you remake that it is a classic and I would have to say that this movie is going to be crap compared to the original. The only reason this makes me mad is I love that movie and it should be left alone.

Definitely. Star Trek turned out to be a great movie. Hopefully the same will be the case with Footloose.

I mean, Jeez Wally, it makes me kinda sore when people make a movie - when they already made a movie with the same people, and the same name, and even the same music. It's kinda screwy, right Wally?

Gee Beav, I never thought about it like that. I hope they never remake cool movies like Psycho, A Christmas Carol, Superman, Bad News Bears, Rear Window and all kinds of others. But if they do, it can't be a bad thing. I mean, if a movie is worth remaking, I bet they'll do a real swell job!

Yeah, remakes suck. But you can't stop Hollywood. Just ask the people that protest Kevin Smith movies... My personal most hated remake was Charlie and the Chocolate factory... Deep Roy bites goat fanny.

If I can live with Red Dawn, you can live with Footloose. I mean it's not like every semi succesful property isn't going to be remade. Take it as a verification of your good taste in film.
