Default Cyberlink Power DVD Vs. GGW-H20L Vs. My computer

WinXP, SP3
780i SLI
Intel Q6600 C2Q @ 2.4ghz
BFG nVidia 8800 GTS 512 w/ 2 DVI outs

Box says Windows XP compatible.

As you can guess, I installed my Blu-Ray burner/reader with great anticipation of beautiful movie viewing glory almost solely to enjoy 2001: A Space Odyssey or Terminator 2.

But when I put the DVD in, and start PowerDVD and hit play, it gives me this error message:

"Fail to enable HDCP. Please switch to analog output (VGA, D-Sub) and try again.- (Error Code = 0107)

Please run the BD/HD Advisor tool for more information."

Now, I haven't tried this, but I have a DVI-to-VGA adapter, though I'm doubtful of its' efficacy.

Does anyone know a way around this, or if I'll have to get a new videocard?

Cyberlink says this:

Quote:
What graphics card do I need to play Blu-ray Disc on my computer?

It is recommended that you have one of the graphics cards with the following graphics processor unit (GPU) installed on your computer in order to play Blu-ray Disc titles.

Intel 965Ggraphics

•nVidia: GeForce 7600 GT, GeForce 7800 GTX 512, GeForce 7900 GX2,
GeForce 7900 GTX, GeForce 7950 GX2, GeForce 8400 series,
GeForce 8500 series, GeForce 8600 series, GeForce 8800 series [my card]
However, it also said to get nVidia Forceware 174.53—which is only available for Windows Vista.

How very frustrating.
