Just before I purchase my 8002 I asked a lot of questions on this forum and got a ton of great information.

See if you can find some of the threads.

I don't know what your receiver can do. Mine was able to connect by way of 7.1 audio.

I tried both ways to connect for audio: HDMI and 7.1 analog. For me the sound was much better going 7.1. I calibrated the speakers through the 8002 and ran direct through the receiver. Beautiful.

For video, I ran an HDMI cable to the receiver.

This set up was perfect for me.

Sorry

I did not notice you asked about PQ not AQ.

Then the first answer was correct

"with an hdmi cable"

I sure got a lot of posts out of this thread

What I'm refering to is I've heard there are certain settings on the menu that seem to work better. I know how to hook it up with the cable.
