marantz 8002 set up

For those who have a Marantz and have already gone through the set up menu, Is there any suggestions on setting up my new player so as to get best picture without trail and error.

i know this may be a dumb question but im going to ask anyway since im a newb lol.

our region A bd's the same as region free?

yeah , Have fun , LOL , been through that menu so many times and trial & error on the settings. just make sure you change the IRE setting to ( 0 ) from 7.5 , that helps alot with the black level , and the the rest is really all about what tv your using , hope this helps alittle , sandman
