Default Inserts, keepsake or trash?

I just realized today when opening up my copy of Sin City that the inserts/ads inside obscure my view of the second disc. Then I wondered why I keep them anyway. I guess out of habit. Well today I decided to toss them in the garbage. Not sure if this will be a trend for me but definitely if it blocks the second disc.

I like to keep the inserts. They help hide the digital copy disc. DC's are useless to me.

The only inserts I keep are the ones with the codes for the Digital Copy.

I've wondered the same thing. Especially, those stupid white sheets with, "Important Notice" reminding you to upgrade to the latest firmware for your player, or the spent Digital Copy sheet.

Even after you've used the code?

I also keep the description page that is on the back of some box sets that is not attached. I'll just fold it up and place it inside somewhere.

I keep most of them, but I don't know why. I feel like I shouldn't throw them away, so usually I just leave them in the case.

Well they don't make Chapter Inserts anymore, so I'm guessing you mean advertisements inserts. I usually just leave them in there, not a big issue for me.

But i say Bring Back chapter inserts. Small snapshots from scenes are no good for me unless I know the film off by heart.

I toss the advertisements, keep the Download code until used.

I keep certain "User Guide"s like for The Incredible Hulk because it looks better than just the case; it kind of evens out the inside.

I spent a good 30 minutes one day just taking out worthless inserts and trashing them from my DVDs and Blus. The crap that was in there blew my mind. Such a waste of paper. I also trashed all of my slipcovers because they are useless.

I don't see a need to throw them away or keep them so I just leave them there.

I miss the chapter inserts too. It was always irritating to buy a DVD with some fancy slipcover and no chapter insert. I'll take chapter inserts any day over a slipcover.

I normally just keep them, except for the "firmware reminders".
