Hey, guys. I am considering purchasing the Yamaha RX-V765 in the near future and decided to look through the manual just to get an idea of the functions of the receiver.
I was looking through the part where it was describing how to manually set the speakers to LARGE or SMALL. The manual states that if you set it to SMALL the low frequency components of the channels are output from a subwoofer. My question is: What is the low frequency cutoff? Can you manually set the cutoff frequency in the receiver? The manual seems really vague... unless I am just missing the information right in front of me. I'm used to using my Onkyo which lets me choose the frequency cutoff for each individual speaker instead of just choosing a LARGE or SMALL speaker configuration. Also, what is considered a good deal on this receiver? Currently Newegg.com is selling it for $600. Any help is greatly appreciated. |
