Default Still confused on setup

Im about to buy a reciever and just want to make sure I understand this out want to be able to get all the new sound formats.My blu ray playe is a sony BD 350.as long as my reciever decodes the formats Iam fine right?Thinking right now Between the
Onkyo 806
pioneer vsx 1019
Denon 2310

From what I can see your bds350 will decode Dolby TrueHD, but not DTS HD. So if you would like both you should get a receiver that can decode both of them. I like Onkyo. The 806 will do this and is THX certified. Never used this site, but its the cheapest Ive seen.

if your blu-ray is connected directly to your TV now, you will need another HDMi cable. The signal will run from your blu-Ray to your AVR to your TV.

The additional HDMi connection to your AVR will carry the surround format in its native version and your new AVR will decode whatever the disk has.
