Question about the start up screen ps3.

Does the time of day determine the start up colour? Mine always seems to be green until fully loaded and it then goes to the colour i desire.

Can i change the start up colour?

Yes, the background darkness varies on a 24hr cycle (according to time of day) and the color itself varies on a yearly cycle (according to the seasons).

Any background color you choose manually is overriding that capability, but it doesn't take effect until the UI loads completely.

really? its annoying? im not usually even looking at it when its starting up, but i hardly think a different color depending on the time of day wouldnt be something thats annoying to me, oh well

I don't even pay mind to it since I have a theme on my ps3 (which is the Yankees MLB 10 theme).
