Need help-Denon avr w/ Sony bluray

Alrighty folks- I really need some help here: I'm at my parents house and am trying to hook up my Dad's new BDP-S301 blu-ray player with his older Denon AVR-2805 without HDMI hookups. DD 5.1, DTS, and PCM 2.0 sound great out of the optical hookup. We're trying to achieve PCM 5.1 with the analog hookups from the back of the blu-ray player to the reciever. I just don't have any idea on where to hook up the 6 cables to achieve PCM 5.1. I'm not even sure, as this is a little older model, if his reciever can do it.
