In next weeks Home Media Magazine:

HD DVD overtakes Blu-ray

In a stunning move HD DVD software and hardware outsold Blu-ray last week. Every Warner, Paramount, and Universal movie was bought and CEO of Toshiba, Sore Loser, has stated that the format might not be dead.

UPDATE: It appears all those movies and HD DVD players were bought by the CEO of Toshiba with stolen PSN credit card numbers.

You can't steal a PSN credit card number because it isn't displayed, even to the user of the PSN account.

Go to account management and edit billing info. There's an option there to remove the info.

Pretty easy way to check. If you can sign into PSN with your pre-set password, you're safe.

From the way their Consumer Alert reads, it doesn't sound like the system was hacked, per se. It sounds more like something flubbed internally.

No need to panic.

Since some cannot read the article because of work filters posty I shall do.

"Sony has dropped details of a possible security breach in the PC PlayStation Store, whereby a "small percentage" of PSN user accounts could have been compromised. A consumer alert on PlayStation.com assures account owners their credit card numbers are likely safe, but their passwords might be changed. In addition, unauthorized access may permit an intruder to use the PS Store 'Wallet' and view any stored personal information.

While Sony claims that "system security is restored" and all potential victims are being directly contacted, the alert does "strongly suggest" that you sign into the PSN service and verify that you still have access to your account ... You still do, don't you? Muwhahaha!"

Please note there referring to the PC store, and we all know give a hacker enough time on any pc content they will breach it.
