Urgent! Read! - Blu-ray Forum

I jsut recieved an email from nnamw0015575@yahoo.se, obiously spam. There were about 100 reciepents, many of which had an @Blu-ray.com email domain, and I noticed some emails adresses with similar screenames that are here. Anybody else get this?

The message read:

Does this have somthing to do with the sendmail problem?

I fail to see the urgency in that message it's just spam... and very bad spam at that...

The urgency is that there were over 100 reciepents that were all members of this site.

are you suggesting that some information was leaked about members on this site. i fail to see the importance even if it was as all you need is an email address.

no but I did receive 8 emails that I have 10 million dollars unclaimed in tinbucktoo and they need my bank account number so I can receive it

Yup.. spambot/crawler... avoid from having your e-mail address as signature or otherwise visible or easily readable. A good way to protect it is using an image of your e-mail.

I got one, but I deleted it... Oh well. It sent to my junk mail box anyway. I have a pretty strong filter on my email
