Deadpool Movie?? - Blu-ray Forum

doing some searching here @ work, nothing said about the latest news yet, so here you go.

producer of X-Men Origins: Wolverine wanting to possibly do a Deadpool movie. Just curious what others may think of this. Never followed him in the comics but seems like a cool character.

I don't know much about Dedpool the character, but I know he has a lot of fans.

Ryan Reynold is playing him in the Wolverine movie. He just got hitched to Scarlett Johanson.

That is one thing I did read about him. He would always break the “4th wall” in the comics and know he was in the comics. That would be kinda cool actually.

i never followed comics, no shop was ever in my area growing up, even now. kinda wish there was though, a co-worker found a box of his old comics, he had the 1st 150 silver surfer comics in there. he made some serious bank!!!

Actually, (geek powers-Activate!) Loki "informed" Deadpool that they were all just comic book characters. If I heard correctly, it basically broke his mind.

Man, HC, you made my day with your post! LOL! I was instantly transported to my childhood days of "Wonder-Twin Powers ACTIVATE!"

Hope they never make a movie for those two.

I remembered something involving Loki, what a great memory you have! Deadpool is a very cool character, would make for an entertaining movie!

heh heh. Actually, I read my buddy's Cable & Deadpool comic, and he told me about it. Deadpool is a much bigger smart-ass than Spider-Man ever was. Much of it is so out of left field.

The whole Loki angle sounds like Animal Man. At least, that's the synopsis in the back of my Preacher collections.

Deadpool is really the only comic I collect from the main marvel universe anymore. Everything else I collect is from the ultimate universe (man deadpool sucks in the ultimate universe) so that should give ya an idea of how much I like deadpool. Personally I think he'd be more suited to a straight to dvd animated show (so they wouldn't have to edit it for the kiddies) but i'd definitely be interested to see him in a live action.

i for one can't wait for the wolverine movie. a deadpool spin off would be pretty cool too.
