Totally, I'm just messing around. I thought the Prequels were good, like crazy Godfather good. Hayden Christensen is like Pacino X 50.

Like 50 Pacinos.

All three prequels have had mostly positive reviews from both professional critics and the public alike. All are "Certified Fresh" on rottentomatoes.com. Despite the rants here they are not considered "terrible movies" by the majority of people in the world. Seems those who hate the prequels have to let everyone know their hate. It's snobbery at best, attention whoring at worst.

The Complete Saga will sell the majority of units because of this truth.
I was helping a buddy set up his new 3-TV system last week in prep for the start of the NFL season. I took over my copy of ROTS to use the THX Optimizer with my THX blue glasses. After doing the simple calibration I jumped to the begining of the Battle of the Heros sequence to play with the 120hz and other various TV settings. My buddy, who's not a movie collector and doesn't own a blu-ray player (yet) sat and watched the entire conclusion of the film. Several times commenting on how amazing he thought it was and how brilliant certain things are. He didn't even make fun of Vader's "no" even though he's the type of guy to poke fun at such a thing.

Your post is 100% correct that it's only a bunch of whiny internet tough guys who cry on and on about George Lucas and the prequels. Much like the blabbers who deny the Matrix sequels because they did not fit their own personal ideas of what the Matrix should be about. Heaven help Peter Jackson if he doesn't make the Hobbit stand up to the rediculous pedastol fanboys have placed LOTR on.

For those of you wondering how to remove the discs from the Complete Saga case without scratching them up, I am currently in the process of uploading a video on the easiest way to do so on YouTube, and will post it here in a bit. If my voice sounds too annoying to you, my profound apologies.

Edit: Here's the video. Again, I know my voice sounds funny, so I apologize.

In my opinion a true collector only collects things that he loves, that the has a real interest in. I think it's much more fake to add items to the collection just because others say one should. It invokes the terms "poser" or "wannabe".

Stick to your guns and only collect what you want and you'll be fine.

Yeah , that's a bunch of nonsense. You should only buy films you enjoy watching. Unless your on some pointless quest to own every blu ray.

Smile It Costs 79 Wupiupi

An interesting experience. Wal-Mart's midnight sale had the complete set at 89.99 at midnight. The first store I was at ran out just as I got to the counter and I drove quickly to a second Wal-Mart, which had a few left. I was there at 1235 or so and when they rang me up, stated it was 79.95, and that it had been 89.99 just moments before. I guess the late bird gets the worm.

Also they were giving out free posters, I got an epic image of Boba Fett riding a Boga.

Dammit , no poster for me . That price thing is weird though. I was the first to the register and had no idea what it would be. They didn;t even have the price flaps for the displays out yet.

Purely because of the internet.
You're breaking my heart!
What's funny is that in my experience, its only the internet where I find people that actually LIKE the prequel trilogy.

I mean, I certainly enjoy watching the prequels, but I get the same satisfaction out of it that I get watching movies like Batman and Robin. Its so bad, but its so good.

Haha! So i just got back from Walmart, and when i tried to pricematch using their website, she said those exact words "Our website and us are like, two separate entities.."

BUT. I had backup. I didn't have a physical copy of the Best Buy catalogue, so I had screenshotted the online catalogue of BB, emailed it to myself, and then when she didn't bite with the Walmart.com i said "Well i have an email from best buy showing they are selling for 79.." - i was not gonna buy it then if they didn't price match, so after she called over the manager who looked at the email on my phone, looked to the saga box, back to my phone, one last look at the saga - "Okay, pricematch it for him"

There were four guys behind me in line who looked very happy after i was done One of em had been backing me up saying "Yeah Best Buy has it for that price!" etc etc.

So i got back at 1230am with my set, for the price i wanted. I'm a happy man

Oh, and i got all 6 Star Wars pringle varieties as well hehe. Gonna chomp down on Han Solo Salt n Vinegar (my fav) while i watch one of the films.. not sure which yet though!

EDIT: Oh, and i got the awesome poster of Boba, gonna look sick up in my writing room!

The wal mart I went to had The Complete Saga ring up $89.99 but the cashier asked me if I wanted to price match without me even saying anything never had that happen before!

Also got a free poster and a free star wars cupcake that they were giving out haha
