Waited until about quarter after to get it because of the price deal. Dude went back to the back to verify the price on the website. Came back and said that it was the on-line price. I had my Droid with me and pulled up the Walmart website and showed it to him. And he said they can't "comp" their own stores What??? You can't price match your own stores? But you can competitors like TARGET???? Doesn't make any sense... Oh well, I got it, and came home to cancel my Amazon order...hope I did it in time...
Was it in "shipping soon" mode? I've come to realize that if you cancel it within 30 minutes you are fine, if not then it's already too late into the shipping process to actually get cancelled.

i got mine at Walmart, 79.96 , no hassle. the only issue was they didn't have the complete set out until 1230. They brought out the separate trilogies and some lego star wars movie on blu for 13.00.

I have been over that many times with various Wal-Mart employees and no matter what they will not price match their own website. It's almost like they stores and the website are two separate entities.

Am I the only person who saw the Luke/Biggs scene and other deleted ones back in the 90s when the "Behind the Magic" pc software came out? Those discs had some cool behind the scenes stuff, but IIRC the deleted scenes were all in B&W.

Well, I certainly didn't buy the complete set to toss Episodes I, II & III into the trash. I do like these films despite all the glaring flaws, but I like the original trilogy so much better. Now that I'm done watching the prequels I will have a total blast watching the original trilogy over the weekend.

Starting with the OT first and then watching the prequels, especially with that depressing last film, would be a bumout experience that I don't wanna have.

Glad I canceled my amazon order. My brother and I went to the midnight release party at Best Buy in Chicago. We were the last two to get a free $10 gift cards that I of course used towards this purchase of Star wars saga. They also had pizza from Dominoes and free cans of Coke Zero, R2D2 stickers, cardboard faces on a stick of Vader, yoda, and Bobba Fett. Plus we got that best buy exlusive star wars T-shirt which I probably may never wear and we got to take photos with Vader, storm troopers, biker scouts, and a snow trooper. I would say there was about 30-40 people there. My brother and I got there around 11:30pm.

I also had a $5.00 reward zone certificate I got for free just by downloading a free game and playing it once on my iPhone, sushi boy is the name of the game and someone on this site had created a thread about receiving the $5 certificate. Overall I ended up paying $65 + taxes out of my pocket thanks in part to attending this midnight release party.

That's a good point. I like the originals much more but I prefer to watch it in order 1-6. It's not like I can ruin any surprises.

Australia No way will i ......

I tried, God knows i tried. "I'll will wait for the price to come down." is what i said to myself.

Unfortunately my will and self-control fell in a heap as soon as i saw the package. I told myself that i didn't have to money to purchase such an item (it was $AU100 at Kmart) and that there are cheaper avenues, other places to look to save more money. But no, it wasn't to be; just less junk food to consume in the next fortnight. Normaly i shop around online for good deals or wait for sales at amazon, b&n etc.

What's that?.... what happened?....where am i?

So here i am at the bus interchange waiting for my bus to arrive - 30min.

peace.

The Complete Saga will sell the majority of units because of this truth.
Are you an angel? I've heard the deep space pilots talk about them. They live on the moons of Iego, I think. They're the most beautiful creatures in the universe.

I'm a person and my name is Anakin.

Mom, you said that the biggest problem in the universe is no one helps each other

Yoosa should follow me now, okeeday?

Master, if we keep this chase going any longer that creep is gonna end up deep fried. And personally, I'd very much like to find out who he is, and who he's working for. This is a short cut... I think.

Attachment is forbidden. Possession is forbidden. Compassion, which I would define as unconditional love, is essential to a Jedi's life. So you might say, that we are encouraged to love.

When I'm around you, my mind is no longer my own.

I killed them. I killed them all. They're dead, every single one of them. And not just the men, but the women and the children, too. They're like animals, and I slaughtered them like animals. I HATE THEM!

WITH LINES LIKE THESE, WHO COULDN'T LOVE THE PREQUELS?

Wow, that all sounds really cool, especially saving $15 bucks!

I'm excited. Always been my favorite movies. I saw ANH right before Empire was released. I then got to take my kids to see the prequels. Been waiting for Star Wars on Blu for a long time.
I had to dust off my Vader mask and FX lightsaber to go scare the shit out of her as she was falling asleep.
Can't wait until tomorrow.
