As a consumer, I can only speak with my dollars. If I have a choice between buying two games that I'm equally interested in, but could only afford one - I might like to chose the one that has truly put their focus behind what they can do with the PS3, rather than an SE situation where they are actually doing some kind of disservice (time wise), or dumbing a game down as to cater to another console.

Well in the very near future.... you will find yourself with very few games to choose from. As games become more and more expensive, and as we continue to go without a clear leader in the hd console race; more and more developers will have no choice but to go multi-platform.

I'm sorry you feel that way. I own all three consoles, so I will continue to have great games no matter who wins in the console war. I don't have the same "emotional" investment in it that so many of you who seem to take these things so personally seem to have. I just hate to see disinformation like the "non HD 360."

why all the hate??? I just don't like people spreading lies. Flat out lies.

Picture quality, sound quality, gameplay, graphics are all subjective.... I've never said one negative thing towards the PS3. Why would I??? I bought at launch and never had one freeze up or issue with the console.

I could be wrong, but how is the Unreal 3 engine archiac?

I was under the impression that Metal Gear Solid 4; the best looking game on the PS3 to this point, is using the UR3 engine.

PS3 has good games the Xbox 360 doesnt have, Xbox 360 has good games the PS3 doesn't have, Wii has good games the PS3 and Xbox 360 doesn't have. All systems have their advantages and flaws.If Square-Enix wants to make more games on the Xbox 360. Why stop them ? It's good publicity for a north american console in Asia. More Asian gamers will be more and more interested in the Xbox 360. That's a bad thing? I don't think so.

Metal Gear 4 , best looking game on PS3 now ? Wow, you haven't seen Gran Turismo 5 Prologue, Heavenly Sword and Devil May Cry 4 ? Those games show the true potential of the PS3.

The reason why i say these things, as i explained in the other thread, when everything is all positive about the ps3( as it has been till now) you never see 360 owners post in those threads( they might be here but they dont post)
now all of a sudden when the ps3 is so called sinking, dying, its over, they come out from everywhere. they post about how 360 is better than ps3, live is betten than PSN, i hate sony, sony sucks, good for sony, etc etc.

The only funny thing is that people blame the 360 and not Square for the Last Remnant being stupid. They say that if it was on the PS3 it would have been a better game. This is not true. Square made a crap game. It happens to all developers a few times.

Don't worry, FFXIII will be out for the PS3 soon.

And where did you hear that, games that I know that use the unreal engine is Bioshock, and some very highly loved games but I never heard of mgs using it...

I'm pretty sure it was an in-house engine that was used. I couldn't find any other info...interestingly MGS4 tapped out the limits of the Cell, haven't played it yet, but adding to my wishlist.

I read about this and I laughed. It's kind of funny while he is talking up the X360 on one hand and in his other is a fat big check from MS.

And for the record it isn't SE that is talking up the X360, it's actually one director from a poor performing game. It's ironic how he says the X360 is so easy and wonderful to develope for yet his game was complete crap.

That is somewhat true. However, exclusives will exist on every system. In the next few years, the PS3 will take the lead in this generation's race and developers are learning how to take advantage of the PS3's power. They've come so far already. Just look at Uncharted 2 and Killzone 2. I have voted for my pick of console with my wallet. I refuse to give Microsoft money, in fact I've never bought an xbox system. And no, I'm not limiting myself. There are no games on the x360 that grab my interest enough, and I have a backlog of games to keep me busy on my PS3, PS2, Wii, DS and PSP.
