I have a LN55A950 and it looks fantastic! A lot of people on these boards will tell you LCD sucks and plasma's are the better true theater experience. I say BS! they haven't seen the 950 series or at least seen one setup correctly. Don't get me wrong the Pioneer Kuro plasmas look great but LCD's use less power and you don't have to 'break' them in for 100+ hours.

Default PC Audio Input

I can't tell from any of the documentation I've looked at online, but what type of audio input is there on the Samsung 750 for the "PC IN" connection?

I'm curious about the audio input specifically. What type of audio input is beside the VGA input. 3.5mm?

Any VGA will have a 3.5mm audio input on Samsungs. And you know HDMI does it all...

Yes. I have an iMac in the basement and will be putting the 750 one floor above (almost directly above where the computer is). I'm planning to run a VGA and audio cable from the mac to the 750. With bluetooth keyboard and mouse, I should be able to use the computer from both spots with no problems.

Unless someone knows why this plan wouldn't work?

Bluetooth might not be able to reach that far... i believe its 30ft. (My info is based off the 550, so if it has it then the 750 will easily have it)

you cant go wrong with a kuro..first i was after the 950..just too bright of a lcd pic...but it looks good. i saw the kuro and was blown away. the blacks and whites are amazing. the dark knight and planet earth are great to watch. the elite gives you a bunch of preset settings for picture. ive heard this tv needs no break in time..im happy with it.

quick question.. does the sammy 40a650 ever display 1920x1080 @120hz when the info button is pressed. when i watch hidef cable it says @60hz.. and my ps3 says @24hz. even when 24p is turned off on the ps3 it reverts back to 60hz.. so does it ever say 120hz?

edit.. i found the answer

Sony is already there with the XBR9 32 inches with 120hz

Right, the info button is telling you the feed it is getting from the signal, your cable signal is 60hz and the PS3 is 24hz when set to 24p output. your TV takes that feed and then internally applies whatever duplication it needs to output at 120hz... I hope that explains it in a simple way.

Ever since I invested (upgraded) in a 950, I have become ADDICTED to BD's. I have never owned more than 10 dvds in the past and now I have over 70 BD's within a 3 month span. I need to get help or get rid of the 950. I need to get my self control back. I need to stop buying BD's. I need to turn off the LED Backlighting once in awhile to not get addicted to this TV. The 950 made me fall in love with movies like "Wild Hogs" and "What happens in Vegas", cheesy movies I have never cared for. LOL

Welcome to the "sickness", too late to turn back now, so might as well enjoy your blu's while you can. By the way, that 950 is gorgeous!

A microfiber cloth should work. It's recommended for the screen, so I'm sure it can clean the bezel as well without scratching. Just make sure you dedicate the microfiber cloth to cleaning the bezel only, to prevent other dust from accumulating on it, which could end up scratching the bezel and defeat the whole purpose.
