Honestly the gen 4 drive was probably over kill. I am not mad at Sony for future proofing the console with it, but I am not happy with them requiring it for upgrades right now when I doubt any of the games actually require it, especially when 99% can be ran on a PC with even the most basic SSD, and when the Xbox is just as capable of a console (if not more so in many regards) and it only uses gen 3 SSDs. It is what it is though, and the price on the 1TB 750SE is actually very decent. Will probably go with that for now until the 2TB drives come down in price.

That’s the Western Digital SN750SE right? That’s the only SSD I can find that’s got 750SE in the name.

If so that SSD isn’t compatible with the PS5.
