Well I had a similar debate with the 52" XBR4 vs another SXRD (2020) for our 2nd t.v. The SXRD won out because for the $2000 difference we were also able to get 2 more PS3's plus a crapload of movies and games etc.

To me you should quantify what you could do with that extra money .. and then decide if it's more important than the enjoyment you will get from any screen quality differences you are currently debating.
