Believe it or not, mp3 music from PS3 sounds better through Optical than HDMI on Onkyo 605. Using HDMI, mutichannel is displayed and you can change the sound type settings in the onkyo. With Optical, music sounds alot better and you can change to all the different sound types such as NEO or PLII...
