Default Worth the upgrade?

Would it be worth the upgrade to go from Polk Monitor 30 fronts, CS1 center, R150 surrounds to Polk Monitor 60 fronts, CS2 center, and shift the Monitor 30s to surrounds? Has anyone made a similar switch or have any experience on it?

Thanks everyone!

I would keep your existing center and just get the 60's. Move those 30's to the rear. Much cheaper. If you're really unhappy you can up the center at that point, but that would probably be a micro-upgrade as opposed to going to towers in the front.

I've read elsewhere that the CS2 is very noticeably better than the CS1. I WANT to believe that since the CS1 sounds a little muffled to me most of the time

I am glad to hear your opinion of the 60s, since the 30s seem too underpowered for the CS1, and when sound pans to the 30s they sound shallow when compared to the CS1.

I honestly haven't listened to the CS1, but the driver complement isn't that much bigger on the CS2. I have read people saying that as well, but I dunno, personally. A silk dome tweeter is superior, but I'd make sure I had a chance to listen if at all possible.

60 is definitely a good upgrade over the 30's though.
