Anyone else refuse to buy another movie on DVD?

I have 1,200 DVDs, and I don't even plan on getting rid of the ones I've already replaced with Blu-Rays...... laugh if you want..... that's your right I guess..... but last time I checked, for the reasons listed above, my DVDs will continue to play for years to come......... so keep buying shitty movies with no plot because "oh that one scene was AWESOME on blu-ray" and I'll toss in my Citizen Kane, or Salo on DVD, and be completely unaware of the PQ, because I'm engrossed in the film......


Seems like a bunch of tech-snobs here, and not a lot of film fans...... I'm rebuying as much as possible on Blu, because I recognize the improvements over DVD..... but to think all of my DVDs are somehow a measure of my foolishness???? Well.... if you don't enjoy FILM, then I guess you don't understand.
