Default In Stock - Order Quickly

Sony has them in stock. I called (877-865-7669) to make sure and the rep told me that they may run out soon. She also said that because of the limited quantities she doesn't know when they'll be in stores. FWIW

Mine will be here on Friday!

I am annoyed at the lack of feedback/reviews for this player. How about load times, PQ, bitstreaming ? Get to work for the brotherhood please .

I read over at AVS that it only does 5.1 DTS-HDMA, What does this mean for a 7.1 DTS-HDMA track that is bitstreamed to the receiver? I'm not sure how it would handle it.

They mean LPCM. Only 5.1 from (7.1) DTS HD MA and no lossless (only core)!
As bitstream it would handle 7.1 DTS-HD MA!

The rest will do the S550.

ABT is expecting 500 units most likely tomorrow. They have only 45 pre-orders to fill so far and will ship those orders immediately.

Thanks,

Yes, tried bitstreaming TrueHD and DTS HD MA, both worked perfect.

FYI

One of the above scans from the BDP-S350 manual indicates that you will need a USB Memory Stick plugged into the USB slot in order to play the " BonusView " material.

Sony store has them in stock, starting at 1GB @ $15.00 or you can go for the 2GB @ $ 30.00 CDN.

Regards
