Ironically, you can watch Birdman to see the issue actors have when they are tied to a character like that, with an actor who gave up being Batman in the lead role as well as two other actors who had their roles in Superhero films taken away from them.

Emma Stone will always be my Gwen.

Did Keaton choose to not be in any more Batman films after Batman Returns? His acting choices werent so wise from 1993 till 1998's Jack
Frost which ended his reign as leading man.

He probably saw the script for Batman Forever and ran the other way in terror.

Yup, Birdman was actually written with Keaton in mind since after giving up Batman his career went into the dumps. Norton was also seek for his role because he is infamously known to be a very hard actor to work with, which is why he they didn't ask for him back for The Avengers, from what I remember reading about that.

Keaton walked away when Burton did

When doing rounds for Birdman this is what he said

Quote:
Another day, more Batman questions for Keaton, this time inquiring his decision to forego reprising his role in Batman Forever, which saw Joel Schumacher take the director’s chair and Val Kilmer don the cape and cowl. In an interview with CBS Sunday Morning, Keaton revealed that he was offered $15 million for the film, but turned it down because “it sucked.”

Yeah not surprised, figured it was a combination of his director friend leaving and the horrible but fun script. Hoping Deadpool 2 will be at least as good as this one.

back when the whole deadpool needs to be rated r argument was going on I got into a huge battle with him on twitter. dude was acting like sucha toolbag saying deadpool will be pg13 only and I'm clueless to think it will be rated r. I even said I bet when it does get made it will be rated r (his fanboys were even saying I'm clueless and saying fox will do the Marvel approach because its what the people want) and he said I'm the dumbest person he has met on the internet to think it will be rated r. I tried searching for the tweets to retweet him this to throw it in his face but i couldnt. but yea man he just starting throwing insults around and acting like a 14 year old I found it very funny. So i can see why he is hated by people just from my experience alone

Didn't think I'd be getting another comic book shirt anytime soon but now I know I need to get a Deadpool one.

Mary Jane sucks. She's always been a boring character, no matter who would play her.

DEADPOOL is going to probably be my first 4K Blu-Ray too.

I probably wont go and see this because I dont care - but I have to give them credit for making fun of the superhero genre since its become so obnoxious over the last few years. Good for them

It is more then likely going to be mine. I'm just waiting for the pre-orders to be available to make sure it comes with a Blu-Ray copy before buying it.
