I'll be flipping the Arrow over to the poster art anyway, like I always do. Their releases look super nice when flipped usually, because of the thicker case.

This has probably already been answered many times, but I just can't find discussions on it:

Since Arrow are 'abandoning' the UK and favouring US, do you think Scream Factory would ever venture over to the UK? Maybe even start off like Arrow did with getting some releases in the UK as well as US?

So because Arrow is releasing a couple of titles US only because they can't get UK rights they're abandoning the UK?

Scream Factory has said before that they're a US and have no plans to expand to other territories or obtain worldwide rights on certain titles.

I'm rarely disappointed in my blind buys but man this one was a rough watch. Best thing about this film was when the actor was breathing heavily inside the mask as it created an effective effect.

Man were some of the nighttime sequences rough to. I won't go so far to call them "Grindhouse" but the sheer number of white specks, flickers and print anomalies were surprising. I think what I found most interesting but also distracting however was the bizarre narration that runs throughout the film. I am glad that's a stylistic choice that never caught on.

It's a 70's classic. It was made in documentary style because it's based on a true story, hence the narration. I loved it. The Director's earlier film, The Legend of Boggy Creek was filmed in the same style. That movie badly need a remaster.

How are Arrow "abandoning" the UK, they also release UK only titles all the time. What a silly question. LOL

well, I'm fully into Arrow unless they release something I want, (can't wait for CHUD), but I don't think arrow will leave UK or Scream will come into UK, though it would be awesome, we just need Scream to turn into a huge company the size of Universal or Disney, should be easy, buy everything they release and support the shit out of them

Yesterday around 3 pm PDT at the Soquel, California Best Buy, Jeepers Creepers 1 & 2 were on shelves. Eddie and the Cruisers double movie was still there and also Manhunter.
Didn't buy anything since I'm waiting on the $5 Rewards Certificate so I could buy The Return of the Living Dead for cheaper.

The first time I saw it I just couldn't wait for it to be over. The other movie included in the set I felt was equally as boring, if not more so. I sold it off as soon as I could lol. I found nothing scary or interesting about it. The newer version however I liked quite a bit.

I wish Scream Factory could get Silent Night, Deadly Night (1984) from Anchor Bay.

Since Lionsgate is buying Starz/Anchor Bay, we might get a better version of SNDN in the Vestron line.

It better be through the Vestron line or through Lionsgate theirselves. Imprint or not.

Is Shout/Scream currently releasing more titles unavailable on Blu-ray disc throughout the planet? Noticed Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey (Most Excellent Adventures) and Death of a Salesman as part of the Shout Select line which isn't part of any release anywhere. Yes, some titles I don't have a problem doubling up on but others I'd rather narrow down to a specific release. That list would be far too lengthy.

I'm currently staying in Burbank and was wondering if there was any shops that stocked Scream Factory releases?

Best Buy and Target are quite poor but the only other place I can think of is Dark Delicacies on Magnolia.

Thanks

Maybe Rasputin or Amoeba? (I know one of them should be in the Los Angeles Metro area.) There should be more second hand shops where you could test your chances. Dunno about prices. Used bookstores which also carry Blu-rays and DVDs? Always do a Google search.
Good luck!

Fry's in Burbank has a few. Not many. Your best shot is Amoeba Records on Sunset in Hollywood. But they're quite expensive.

Thanks guys,

I'll check out those suggestions. I assume places like Dark Delicacies and Amoeba will be full retail as they're independents.

Visited a Best Buy in Downer's Grove, IL yesterday and they had Manhunter, Jeepers Creepers 1 & 2 and Return of the Living Dead all in stock. this is great for fans (and Scream Factory) - I hope to see all their new releases stocked going forward

I guess all the requests/hopes & dreams I'm used to seeing here have now moved to the Vestron thread
