Setting up Yamaha 663

That is the reason I purchased the 550, so that it would decode, and I could matrix with the 663.

Am I on the right track....?

Bitstream the lossless audio formats to the V663. Then your problems are solved. Why even bother to have the player do the decoding when the V663 can do it and probably better too?
