Wasn't an Obi-Wan movie also confirmed as to being worked on?

Not confirmed, just rumored. Yoda and Boba Fett also. IIRC, Ewan said he's open to the idea.

The Boba Fett film was the third spin-off we always heard about, right? The one Josh Trank was supposed to direct.

Lack of time or lack of interest? If the latter, stick with it, it improves a lot as it goes on.

It just fell off my radar with so many other things that have come out since.

I did. I saw all three of them.

(LOL, I don't even feel that way anymore... but I used to, before finally embracing the prequels last year)

Turner pays $250 million for TV rights to 10 Star Wars film. I wonder how much FOX got out of that since they had to do a separate agreement with them for A New Hope?

Thought for sure these would go to with ABC Family or FX networks (awkward for the latter).

As much as I hated TFA, I gotta admit, TFA breaking the May tradition worked in its favor. A Decemeber release is best for these movies. No Marvel is around that time (Dr. Strange is November), no big budget tentpoles.

That's pretty cheap, probably less than I've paid for Star Wars on home video over the years.

Hah! my cat was walking across my keyboard while I was typing and caused me to mess up a bit. At least it didn't come out as "ajfdfjsdljfsdjfsdfjsdkl".

It's a bland, boring rehash of ANH, mixed with some of ROTS, and the now non-cannonical EU. Typical flashy style-over-substance JJA bullshit movie. The bad guys were just godawful, and cartoony. Hayden's Anakin gets crap for being whiny in AOTC, but he was a stupid teenager. Kylo is in his late 20s, just as whiny. Rey is a jesus-like character, near infallible. Finn was just as annoying as Jar Jar Binnks. The fan homages were hamfisted. I think this movie is not as good as TPM or ROTS, but better than Attack of the clones. Just total, unimaginative, homage, unoriginal JJA shit.

I don't think anything has bored me in the past nine months as these three bland, whiny reactions being continually remouthed and rehashed almost word for word.

Not one example of Kylo "whining" has yet surfaced.

The possibility of Rey bein jesus-like as an inherent flaw dismisses, discredits and disregards the fact that it has never harmed Superman's compelling story over the past seventy odd years.

Anyone comparing Finn with Jar-Jar needs to go and take a lie down, and sort themselves out.

I will always love it how Star Wars fans get so defensive about a movie that someone didn't enjoy

This is spot on. I wanted to love TFA, but ended up hating it more than any prequel except for AOTC. It was just horrible.
