Star Wars for me, saw it maybe 10 times when it was re-released I think summer of 1981. Saw it 3 times in one day. I remember we stayed in the bathroom between shows while they cleaned the theater so we wouldn't have to pay again. Darned kids, I tell ya.

Green Mile.

It was in theaters so long that I managed to see it 3 times, with 3 different girlfriends.

I'm not kidding.

Wow, that is amazing. I have all respect for you, and have now raised my goal for how many different girlfriends I will take to one movie to 4. This is going to be tough.

On the thread's note, however, the only movies I saw more than once in the theater were:

- Transformers (2)
- Cloverfield (2)
- The Dark Knight (2)
- Star Wars Episode I and II (2 each)
- 300 (2 - I was trashed the first time and threw up in the bathroom halfway through the movie, I had to give it a second chance )

probably episode I, sad as I am to say. I saw it at midnight on release, then the next day with friends, and then twice that weekend.

actually, I saw the Happening twice just to make a few more friends of mine sit through it after seeing it with my aunt and uncle.

It seems I see bad movies a lot more than good ones in the theater. hmm.

Probably Star Wars Episode 1: The Phantom Menace. I saw it like 6 times in the theater. It could be a tie with that and Star Wars Episode 3: Revenge Of The Sith as I saw it atleast 4 times.

I also saw Revenge of the Sith 4 times in the theater. That's number one for me, tied with Return of the King.

Easy: The Rocky Horror Picture Show

I have no idea how many times I've seen it, but if I had to guess I would say 40+.

Back in my college days, I went to see the movie "Ghost" about five times and each time with a different girl. In truth, the movie was held over and played for about a month but oh man what a great date movie!
