There's a ton of listings around this price though, and they all say "blu-ray disc will not play in game console" in the description. Is there some significance to this?

It's either a boilerplate warning from other listings or it's a subtle hint that they're bootlegged burned copies.

Jedi get a lot of flack for being like detached monks but that was what made them so dangerous and so disciplined. To control your feelings and box them out. To give yourself to the Force instead of manipulating the Force for yourself as Sith do. The Sith adapted where the Jedi did not. Yoda didn't embrace change and adapting to the changes of the Galaxy.

This is why Luke looked so conflicted when Vader was baiting him to the darkside in that scene. "I will not fight you". He showed Vader mercy and compassion when the shoe was on the other foot. I think the combination of that and constantly bringing up the conflict within Vader is what brought Anakin to the light. The best part of that scene was seeing Vader watch Luke getting electrocuted. He wears a mask but you could feel and see through the mask and see the conflict within himself.

I love it because you can see the same sorrow and conflict in Anakin's face when he marches with the clones to the Jedi Temple. And again on Mustafar before he massacres the Trade Federation.

I reckon the guys at ILM forgot to add it into that shot. Still though you can just pretend that it was destroyed. That works.

Definitely sounds like bootlegs from the listing. "Does not play in game console" is a huge red flag, and he spells blu-ray as "blue ray". Seems legit.

Great observation. That is why a lot of people are troubled with the "Noooo" being tacked on. We already saw it, and feel like it has been hammered into our heads.

Yet like the slithering subservient Jabba added to Star Wars, is the character changed or is it perhaps how it was always meant to be?

If Lucas always meant for Vader to say "No. Noooooooooooo!" at the end of Jedi, Vader would have always said "No. Noooooooooooo!" at the end of Jedi. There was absolutely nothing stopping him from including that bit when the film was originally created. There was nothing stopping him from changing it for the 1997 or 2004 versions of the Special Editions either, for that matter.

I always thought that the added NOOOOO in Jedi was Lucas doing his echo/rhyming thing between the trilogies. I also interpreted it as Lucas hammering it home that when Vader sees Luke dying, he's remembering Padme, since it was learning of her death that inspired the first NOOOOO in ROTS. So basically, watching Luke dying reminds him of Padme's death, and he just snaps and says, "no you don't Emperor Palpy, not this time!! This time I can save him!"

Now with that said, I think all that would have come across just fine without the NOOOOO's. But that's George for ya.

I thought George added the "Noooooo!" to the OT as an FU to people who were critical of it in Sith. Like how he added Jar Jar at the end of Jedi.

Antagonizing your fan base and general audiences always works out well, doesn't it? Next thing you know, you can't get people to see a movie with your name on it even when you open in January (Red Tails, Strange Magic).

If anything - what with the lightning and all - it should remind him of Mace.

23 years ago he had an opportunity to kill Palpatine ( and fulfill his destiny ) but he made the wrong choice.

Now he's getting a do-over.
