We can agree to disagree I'd just like to know though how anyone sees blu-ray replacing DVD within 15 years. DVD took approximately 8 years to surpass VHS in rentals. That's just surpass it. And again, DVD was not only a video/audio difference, but the ability to skip scenes, not rewind etc. DVD was a no brainer in comparison to VHS. For us, High Def vs. Standard is a no brainer, but what about the average joe? Not to mention again that DVD was usable on the TV's people already owned.
