PS3 Fix? - Blu-ray Forum

I came home with a crack on the PS3! I didn't do anything and all of a sudden there is a crack on it. It's a problem for me, as it makes it harder to press the on button. Is there a fix for this?

You dont need to press the power button, just press and hold the PS button on one of the controllers it will come on. My PS3 gets smoking hot and the little PS emblem fell off, kind of disappointed me, but no biggie. As long as everything functions fine I wouldnt worry about it too much.

as said... if functionality is there then it's ok. BUT you can probably take off the whole top and then carefully reinstall it. If it's an actual CRACK then there's nothing but superglue that can help...

i think you will eb alright, i cannot think of a quick fix for this unless you can buy a new case from ebay maybe???? you can just use the ps button on the controller to turn it on
