We've had ours for a week now, and I have to say it really blows me away. We're very happy with this set so far. People are just amazed when they see it. LN52A750 if anyone cares. It was great putting home photos and video on a thumb drive and seeing them up on that big screen. Still figuring out all the features - been too busy watching it to do much playing!

Yeah, I just noticed this model a few days ago. It looks pretty good to me... just like the 650 but with one less HDMI port and slightly lower contrast ratio. The screen also has a matte finish- less glossy than the 650. About $100 less it seems.

the 630 is a great tv for the money, same as the 650 and 750 except the contrast ratio and # of hdmi imputs. and the screen finish, but hey... picked up the 52in 120hz for a steal at circuit city last week and im more than happy with it. cant go wrong!

The "matte" finish on the 630 is just that. It looks like somebody put a mat over your TV screen. If you compare it side-by-side with a 650 (or 680), you'll see a HUGE difference in picture quality. IMO, not worth the $100. I *love* my ln40a650, got it for $1300 on Amazon. I think that's what the price is there still. We actually own two ln40a650 T.V.s (the reason I bought MINE was for how awesome the first one was.)

Not yet, but I will though. It's 1099 here at Circuit City. Can't beat that price on a 120hz Samsung. I'll let you know when I get it. It's soon

if someone put a mat on my tv screen id punch them. for putting a mat on it. aside from that you wouldnt be able to see at all then. seriously a mat? i know its a diff. finish. and a huge difference in picture quality? you seriously must have superhuman eyeballs to be able to "see" a "huge" difference in 50,000:1 vs. 40,000:1 contrast ratio.
I would definatly buy another samsung for sure. for the price and quality you just cant beat it. no wonder you got two. im getting a 32in for the bedroom as soon as i can afford it!

My question concerns the Digital N/R setting. Most suggested calibrations I've seen leave this setting to "off". Why is that? What does it do? What does it sacrifice? I have noticed that on grain/noise-heavy movies, it does seem to clean up the picture signficantly. But am I sacrificing detail for that affect?

Also, I'd love it if someone could tell me about DNIE. What is that? Does turning it on help or hurt the picture?
