always controversial, his movies always come together really well. I like him! just wish he would quit the cameo roles
Natural Born Killers was pretty much Totally Re-Written by Oliver Stone, which is why the credits say "based on a story by" QT. "True Romance" he wrote the screenplay but did Not Direct it. (Tony Scott did that one).

*** SORRY -- I just went back and saw that my above info has already been posted. I started to read page 1 and then wrote my reply. ***

TARANTINO - By Jim Smith - http://www.amazon.com/Tarantino-Virg...0003228&sr=1-1 - IF you are a fan of his and want to learn more about his beginnings and style, etc, the above is a very good book and the writing is excellent as well. I'm 75% thru it (at the KILL BILL Vol I section). It goes over his casting choices and why, storylines, use of musical choices, and is just a good read if you Enjoy his Films. It also goes over his acting roles he's done. Plus it has reviews, good & bad, from mostly reputable sources.

Anyway, I Love Pulp Fiction, Great screenplay, and love how the Incredible cast are used in all the different parts of the movie, yet they're all tied in really. True Romance, really enjoy that movie as well, excellent Cast also. Reservoir Dogs: Love that one also, great writing, great performances by the cast, his usual great music, etc. Jackie Brown was okay on 1st view, but after seeing it a few more times, I've grown to really Enjoy that one as well. As for everyone here who doesn't "Get Tarantino", that's fine. Everyone has differing opinions, but when the BLU RAY's for Kill Bill Vol 1 & 2 were coming out, I saw Tons of posts on that, so obv. a Lot of people either liked them and/or QT himself.

Deathproof was perfect for what it was supposed to be: an "homage" (look it up - lol) to the cheesy 70's low-budget type movies that you loved to hate, or hated to love. Tell me that Car Chase at the end isn't one of the best all-time in film history! Not THEE Best, but one of the best. And, like the 70's movies it was going for in style, it was done REAL. Yes, Real Girl On Hood of Real Car. No CGI in that sequence. I like also how a lot of his Females are not just the Girlfriend or arm candy for some guy. (The Bride: Kill Bill 1 & 2, Uma's character in Pulp Fiction, Pam Grier: Jackie Brown, Rosanna Arquette: True Romance, the 3 Females in Deathproof). They're strong characters and written as such. Also, if you are a True fan of his, the 2 part season ender to CSI (the real one, from Las Vegas), he did a couple years ago (wrote/directed it) was Incredible. He also did an episode of ER back in the day also that had his usual Atypical directorial style intact.

As for his acting... Well, did I mention I love his directing?! (for the most part).

I love most of his writing, his casting, & choice of music in his films---which is usually used to Enhance a scene.
