I thought the demo was fun. Didn't notice anything wrong with the music. But I guess It's a matter of taste.

ok... let's say it's the best song in the world... (given it's not, it ****en sucks) it's still the same 6 bars throughout the entire game!!!!

FFS even Super Mario Bros. for the NES has more variety in music... JAPAN STUDIOS, how could u let a game like this slip past you?

u had me at hello with patapon, and i thought japan studios was going to be the audio big hitters. the audio design in patapon and loco roco was downright brilliant!!!!~

The game is from a indie studio while japan studios may have published, it, the dev team were realy strange rewatch the introduction you get to meet the whole team they had like 5 or so people made up the entire dev team.

^Haha the trailer for the game was SOOO stupid.
I enjoyed the demo, but I knew I wouldn't be interested for very long so I didn't buy the full game.

Well the trailer explained to me that they were far from normal, but I do not consider myself normal either I have a tendancy to listen to midi's, from all the rpg games from snes systems down to nes systems... Alot of people can't stand hearing the same tones over and over but I love it...

I thought the trailer would have warned you of the abnormalities of the dev team, perhaps additional warning would have been needed.

To protect the pureness of our blue and perfect midi files... midiknights form up and roll out..

-edit post fixed up and translated to english, the last part is a joke first part is from Gundam Seed to protect the pureness of our blue and pefect world. The last part is from transformers Auto bots form up and roll out...

Through I admit th trailer was hard to watch, I would have assumed it would have told you that the devs were abnormal.. perhaps a additional warning...

Im sorry I typed that on my ps3 keyboard keys lag from time to time back at work now...

Um lets see well im a person that listens to midi files generally low quality tones that loop, as such that other people which to cause harm to me...

So the music really could not have bothered me, I felt from the trailer the folks who did this were weird, weird enough to only put one song in there that loops...

Which makes me now want to get this game, so that I could listen to the music file.

Okay personally I would not find it annyoing on the concept that im use to listening to the same music playing over and over usually a simple tune.

Recall the original rpgs on the Snes or nes, have you ever just sat and listened to them playing over and over for hours...

Midi files are a program language that your sound card reads and attempts to create...

Something like this...

Horn 1, Drum 2, Horn 1, Drum 2, Guitar 3, Drum 5, Horn 2, Horn 2, Horn 2, Horn 2, Drum 6, Drum 6, Drum 6, Drum 5, Drum 7, Horn 3, Horn 3, Horn 2

These are based on the sound library's on your sound card, a more advanced sound card may have a more extensive library then a cheaper sound card.

People have discovered a method to pull music off the old nes and snes games and turn them into midi files...

I like to listen to looping midi files I consider it part of my childhood but many people at work have threatened great harm on me...

Ive always loved midi files, but thats me personally maybe im alone in that aspect...

Anyway have a nice day, and hopefully I do not get any more wats for some time..

i know exactly what MIDI is, and how it works, and you couldn't describe MIDI to save your life. lol
and i'm sorry, but even 80's RPGs, although may have repetitive music at the world map, for example, it changes as soon as youwalk into a dungeon or another town. it is absolutely inexcuseable that a game released in 2008 has the same 12 seconds of music for any given second of playing time.

i could have produced that track in the time it takes to listen through it once, and if the #$#@$%that developped The Last Guy came to me and begged me to make them a 120 bar japanese bedroom dancing song for every level, i would be done in 6 hours. and taken a sushi dinner as pay.

.

that would do nothing, my PS3 is going optical in-to my THX cert dedicated 5.1 setup. besides, i need the sound from the game to hear things like zombies coming around a corner and such no?

Im sorry I thought I was talking too technical so I decided to dumb down my post...
Actually you missed the jiff me personally I leave a single midi looping for 10 hours straight...

And that is why people at my job want to hurt me...
Apparently there is only so many times people are willing to hear Red Wings

Im sorry to hear you didn't like the music for last guy, but you made me want to buy it now...
