Okay personally I would not find it annyoing on the concept that im use to listening to the same music playing over and over usually a simple tune.

Recall the original rpgs on the Snes or nes, have you ever just sat and listened to them playing over and over for hours...

Midi files are a program language that your sound card reads and attempts to create...

Something like this...

Horn 1, Drum 2, Horn 1, Drum 2, Guitar 3, Drum 5, Horn 2, Horn 2, Horn 2, Horn 2, Drum 6, Drum 6, Drum 6, Drum 5, Drum 7, Horn 3, Horn 3, Horn 2

These are based on the sound library's on your sound card, a more advanced sound card may have a more extensive library then a cheaper sound card.

People have discovered a method to pull music off the old nes and snes games and turn them into midi files...

I like to listen to looping midi files I consider it part of my childhood but many people at work have threatened great harm on me...

Ive always loved midi files, but thats me personally maybe im alone in that aspect...
