You get an external USB drive, format it to FAT32 via swissknife or any program that you can use. You then need to put certain folders in, MUSIC, VIDEO, and PICTURES (don't quote me on the exact way to spell them, but I know they need to be capitalized). Then you just plug it in, and it should recognize it. Once I get home and look at my drive I can tell you how I've got mine set up. I'm at work right now with absolutely no access to it or my thumb drive.
