Do I attach one piece to the mount and the other slides into place and connects to the monitor? I want to make sure I have this right before I do anything.

I'm sure you are correct in telling me I need this, but wouldn't it have come with this if it was needed? I find it hard to understand why they would give me the entire bracket, but leave this one part out.

The TV is 61 pounds for what its worth.
