The pic you have shows a person in the middle of the room.
or
You can also say that he has room behind him for placement.

From this pic below, I really only have one spot open for a 10 inch sealed sub. I hope it works out this way. I am thinking between the two chairs in the corner. That chair is to the wall, I don't have any space behind it. when I made this pic I have no idea why I put that chair out that far
