It would be strange for this movie to go OOP. If that turns out to be the case. I have the release with The Skull on the front as I prefer that artwork.

There's supposedly a new 4k remaster coming out on UHD and probably BD. So this release might go OOP in preparation for that.

They did re release Evil Dead 2 with a new cover with Ash standing above a bunch of hands and it comes with a Digital Copy. That came out September 13th 2016

I am sure you can find the old skull face blu ray. I got mine used for 5 bucks a few years ago

Yeah, this is one of those films that gets an endless number of releases.

Nope, that’s from the ending of Evil Dead 2. Look closely at his chainsaw and also note the streak in his hair.
