dude, i had a 58" plasma but it just did not feel right to ME; so i went ahead and bought me a 55" a950 and i am so happy with my purchase. my advice to you is, if you like it and want it then just go for it.

does anyone know if there are any planned 32in 120hz lcd coming to the market. ive seen the 40in sammy which is great. but will ther be a 32 in version?

Probably a few. Sony KDL-32XBR9 coming this spring will probably be 120HZ. All the larger XBR9 models will be 240hz.

From what I have known, they weren't because at that small its really hard to get blur.. most are 5ms now...

I agree, but for an edge in sales someone will probably be putting 120hz in 32 inchers because some consumers will always believe they are getting a better set over 60hz models.

Sharp is not putting 120hz in anything under 40 inches for 2009:

Looks like Samsung will be one trying to increase perceived value by putting 120hz in a 32:

I replaced my 40" Sony Bravia with a 46" A630 the day after Christmas. OMG what a difference! The Sony wasn't 120hz, so when I hooked the 630 up, I was SO amazed at the new picture. I'm entirely satisfied, and can say for sure that Samsung has got a customer for life with me!

thanx but i looked it up on sammys site and it said that the 32 inch did not have 120hz. what i really want is the auto motion plus feature. so i guess ill use my discount at work and buy the 40 inch..

Just upgraded from a Samsung 46" A630 with a matte screen to the Samsung 46" A750 for the same price i paid for the 630 through amazon a month earlier. The reason I upgraded was the 630 they sent had some dead pixels and a small flashlight in one of the corners. I got the 750 on Saturday and wow i didn't expect the 750 to be that different then the 630 but it does have a better picture when i compared between some bluray's. I'm satisified now and especially since i got it for like 10 bucks cheaper than what i originally paid for the 630

What model did you look up? Was it the Samsung LN32650? Don't confuse the 2008 Samsung LN32a650 with the not yet released 2009 Samsung LN32650. The 2009 LN32650 will look like this:

thanx I did look up the wrong model. Do you know if it will have 50000:1 contrast ratio like the ln40a650? I also want it to have that deep colour that the 40 inch has. And again thanx for your help.

Have not seen that spec yet. However, perhaps stick with the 40" as it will have an ethernet connection for internet:

Honestly, I say yes. I wish Samsung would have made the a950 in a 65" model but I had to settle on the 55" screen which is their largest in the 9 series. Whatever you decide to get, I hope you will truly be happy with your set in terms of size and picture quality.

Panasonic already makes them. i bought a 32 120Hz panny last year. best 32" LCD ever IMO. Model Number is TC-32LX700

They are also claiming an average of 1000/1080 for motion resolution which, if they've pulled it off, will be very impressive as most other sets on the market only get this high with a particular combination of settings turned on.

I must admit after researching many tvs and their prices, I've settled on the LN55A950, for the money I don't think you can find a better tv. Plus Best Buy will match the $3645.00 ad i found on the web for one.
