Why wouldn't Cersei send the Golden Army to attack them while they are down and out next week? I predicted weeks back on here that I can see something like Euron killing Dany, giving Jon a clear path and a reason to march on KL in the finale. Jon's battle will be Euron, and it needs some spice to it. Euron killing Dany would give the audience a reason to cheer for Jon to kill Euron.

I feel Sansa will win whatever is left (I doubt the Throne or KL is still standing), with a group headlined by Tyrion. Cersei will burn KL to the ground while Hound vs Mountain, Euron vs Jon, etc.

Brilliantly shot episode, but I can't help but feel a bit disappointed by the ending. Ten years of being told nothing else matters but the army of the dead, that Winter is coming, this overarching threat is coming...and just like that it's easily dispatched with only a few minor characters and Jorah dying. I don't know...just makes the rest of the episodes seem unimportant, but we'll see how it plays out. Disappointed with how easily the Night King was killed though, even if it was an awesome death.

I think it’s clear from the many prophecies in the books that it was never gonna be them in the end. The main focus of the story has always been the humans.

You shoulda known better they boxed the character in early just casually raising every dead thing they come in contact with up, can’t have him at the end unless it’s zombie apocalypse and even them all you’d get is the same kinda ending you got here.

Although Jons battle with the general... Heck that I entire battle at the wildling camp was 10x better than this lol

Absolutely awful lighting in this episode. Couldn't tell who was who. The dragon fights were entirely lost upon me.

Did they hire the cinematography team from Solo to direct this shite?
