Dollar Tree Movies

Was out at the grocery store and stopped at the dollar tree next to it and found quite a few. Found a second Josie if anyone is looking for it. I also found copies of Delgo. Has that been reported yet?

The big news for me is Judy Moody. When it first turned up on Friday, I assumed it must be a lonely remnant from a previous wave, because no one had reported it from the early-bird DTs. But it showed up at multiple locations, sometimes with multiple copies. After I got home, I found that someone else reported it, with a photo. But no one else has, which might make it seem rare. In this area/region, however, it's apparently common.

(Also, the Glacier National Park Blu is from Wilderness Video.)

DVDs I saw that weren't on Spootnek's master list before Friday: The Backup Dancer (since posted), Sasq-Watch (two locations), and A Family Man.

Have you found any new blu titles that haven't been reported on the West? I saw someone, in this timezone, mention A Walk In The Woods. I'm tempted to try to find it because I saw the trailer last night and it looks good.

I thought it was pretty good. I picked it up in the last round. (And yes, I already watched it. I had the benefit of a shoulder injury that kept me from sleeping more than 2-3 hours a night for a little over a week so I blew through most of that round.)

If it's been floating around for some time, maybe we'll get more copies next batch. It might be a "rare" movie here, like the Sharknado 3 pack.

Infiltrator, another BG release, made it's way out here last sale, but I never found it. A lot of copies were finally here in this batch.

Bought Weirdsville DVD yesterday from a new shipment and it doesn't play on my Oppo. In fact my computer doesn't even recognize there is a disc in the drive. I could have used that dollar for Wild Things 8 or something!

As far as I know I didn't see anything not reported in the large thread.

I don't have a good grasp of what's regional though, sorry. There are only 3-4 titles I have any interest in, and I was short on time at the 2 stores I visited that had put them out, so I didn't pay as much attention as I often do.

I don't think I saw A Walk in the Woods. The titles I definitely recall were Bring It On: Worldwide #Cheersmack, Josie, Knight Of Cups, Marine 3, Movie 43, Robocop, Struck By Lightning, The Warrior's Way and Wish Upon.

I've never seen Walk In The Woods in the Midwest, so pretty sure it's regional. It was a title from a sale or two in the past as well.

Decided to take a Sunday drive and hit up a bunch of DTs. I think it's safe to say that I've found every good Blu-ray there is to find this in this area already, and I still can't find either/both of the Hitchcock DVDs or the Sci-Fi Collection DVD.

With that said, here is my haul... All DVDs, including some that I don't think are on the master list (but I could be wrong!)

- Alisa Knows What To Do: Season 1 (Russian sci-fi animated series)
- The Borrowers (and 7 other movies)
- The Midnight Man (I left my phone in the car, so I couldn't look this up to see if it was garbage. Interesting premise though!)
- Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates (Adam Devine has the world's most punchable face, so I hope Zac Efron can save it.)
- Monsters [with slip] (I usually don't care about slips, but this one was too nice to leave behind. I bought it already a few days ago without a slip, so I'll have to return that one.)
- Taking Earth
- Tim & Eric's Billion Dollar Movie [with slip]
- The Three Dogateers (not sure why I bought this - can anyone enlighten me?)
- V/H/S (on DVD, not VHS)

Historically, the September drop is usually the best. Been Universal titles a few years. I THINK it's always that Labor Day weekend, as I go to Horrorhound the weekend after and always stop at a few stores down in Indiana to pick through the scraps.

I decided to hit up a bunch of stores today that hadn't put their stock out to see if I could find anything I was really looking for. Overall, I didn't come away with much (but I did get a few things that other board members needed for trades and a couple of things for a buddy).

Here's what I grabbed to keep:

• Delgo (only saw this at one store out of the dozen I've been to in this area)
• PBS Nature Cold Warriors: Wolves and Buffalo
• Drone (similar -- only one copy out of a dozen stores)
• The Changeling (same as above)
• The Day Harry Met..? (Season 1 DVD)
• Octonauts: Treasure Hunt (DVD)

For a friend, I grabbed a DVD set -- Flying Fists of Kung Fu (12 movie set) which is also not on the master list. Has anyone else found this?

I'm quite happy to snag Changeling -- I've seen and like that movie. I have an extra of the PBS Nature title in case anyone's looking for it.
