The best way I've found to prevent that from happening again is to pick up a portable hard drive. I use the WD Passport. When you re-rip make sure your default music file is selected is on the portable, (do not let apple organize your folder) then rip away.
When it does crash again you'll have all your music including purchases on your drive. That route saved me so much grief. |
