Generally speaking, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine" (2009) is regarded as the only true weak entry in the X-Men movie franchise produced by 20th Century Fox (2000-2020). That said, there are fans that still like the movie and would want to see some problematic scenes finally “fixed”, in order to make the movie better and more in line with the quality of other installments in the series.

Those are our suggestions:

1- Resume previously unseen footage from the cutting floor and make a (slightly) extended cut of the movie where characters and pre-existent scenes are better fleshed out. If this footage ever exists in the vaults, of course...
2- Improve/re-do the CGI of the adamantium claws on the "Bathroom Scene" at Hudsons’ home.
3- CGI-add blood on Logan during the Weapon X procedure, to make the sequence match the X2 flashbacks in a proper way.
4- Change the title of the movie for this alternative version. I suggest "WOLVERINE: ORIGINS", since the “X-Men Origins” doesn’t make sense anymore - being this one a standalone attempt to depict the origins of the characters.

2- Burn all copies of the film print
3- Use the money you would have spent to improve CGI and effects to different X-Men movies
4- Fix Dark Phoenix and Last Stand so that they actually make sense being in the universe together

And even the average X-Men movies have more positive qualities than negative ones. The X-Men movies are way more satisfying and rewatchable than the Marvel Phase films for me.

I will honestly say although I'm biased I believe the majority of the franchise works.
The only ones I see no reason to revisit being Origins, Gifted and Phoenix, with the first being nearly so bad it's good with friends.

I like all the X-Men films, some more than others but at the very least, even the lower tier ones I get some form of entertainment from. X2: X-Men United is still, to me, the best comic book film ever made. Solid story, acting, action, humor, and the soundtrack is fantastic. It is perfect to me.
