Not ALL games use auto-save now. Eternal Sonata still uses save points and if I remember correctly, so does Ninja Gaiden Sigma. Probaby quite a few more, but I don't buy that many games.

Anyhoo, if it really DOES happen 7% of the time, then I would say that is a HUGE problem. I dunno whether 93 is the actual percentage or your guess, but let's say there's a game that uses auto-save with a 7% corruption rate. Now, let's say that game sold 2 million copies. That means 140,000 players would have their data corrupted at some point. You don't think that's a problem the company should address? Seriously? And that's only one game!

IF it's true that this happens to EVERY game that auto-saves, then we're talking millions (possibly even billions) of screwed up games.
